The latest gas fuel fraud across several russian regions has been uncovered by russian FSB agency. According to them, hacker dennis zayev himself developed and created several malicious programmes. He acted as a seller of the malacious programme.

According to FSB, every morning employee of gas station left one of the gas reservoirs empty.when a customer made a purchase, the programme automatically undercharge him from 3% to 7% of amount gasoline purchased.At the same time, the meter on the column and all the accounting programme of the operator showed that the entire volume of paid fuel was poured into the tank.The stolen gasoline was automatically sent to the tank left in the morning empty.Also, the virus removes information about this actions.

The fuel collected in the empty tank is moved to market for sale.Interestingly, the malware helped not to display transaction data in the cash system registry.

This malicious programme could not be detected by a specialist of the control service of the oil company, who constantly conduct inspections at filling station.

The developer of the malware zayev was detained and arrested.
